Copper The Bet has released Champagne. Champagne combines elements of pop, electronic and retro and the result is a new sound that could fit into a few different musical times. The band is from Los Angeles, California and isn't afraid to think outside of the musical box.

The album opens with the title track which could have easily topped the charts back in the 1980s but instead of sticking to older influences and enhancing that portion of their sound, the band brings in different elements, like more pop inspired vocals and even electronic vibes that help to elevate their sound out of the 80s and into 2015.

Much like bands like Passion Pit and MGMT, Copper The Bet wants to explore new musical ground and isn't afraid of going in different directions. At times this album can feel like it is a pop album and on the next single it switches to a electronic-retro inspired song. Which makes listening to the album not only a fun experience but a guessing game to see which influence inspired which track.

Champagne has a fun and upbeat feel that is captured on every song. Each song flows into the next one and feels like a vision that the band was trying to execute instead of just developing their sound. Copper The Bet has worked on their sound and is confident in the direction they are going in. They own it, capture it and have fun playing every song.

Most bands are not willing to explore different directions, when they find their sound they want to own it and stay within that range. Copper The Bet finds a song, explores it and moves onto different directions all within the same album.

The band has posted to their social media outlets that they are going to be playing the world famous, The Viper Room in California, after playing a venue of that magnitude, they are likely to start becoming more popular in mainstream culture and the music industry.

Stand out tracks on the album include, "Only One," "Last Night" and "When We're Dancing."
