Demi Lovato was rushed to the emergency room on Tuesday evening after she was experiencing trouble breathing. The "Neon Lights" singer was taken to the Providence Tarzana Medical Center by a friend for treatment.

Fox News reported that doctors ran tests and monitored her, after the tests were complete it was determined that her illness was flu-related. She was given a Z-Pak and has now returned home to continue to rest.
Lovato is currently in the studio working on her latest album and was scheduled to work with a "big producer" this Tuesday. The recording process is now on hold as Lovato recovers.
Lovato's fans took to Twitter to support the singer and started #GetWellSoonDemi trending worldwide on Twitter. Her fans, which are known as "Lovatics" have supported the singer through many ups and downs including her rehab stay, US Magazine added.
