Just like the Cat in the Hat, Dr. Seuss has come back. A new book based on a recently discovered manuscript and sketches from the beloved author is set to be published by Random House Children’s Books this summer.

The book, titled What Pet Should I Get is based on papers Theodor Seuss Geisel’s widow, Audrey Geisel, and his secretary found in his La Jolla, California home in 2013. The publisher said that there is enough material left for two more books.

Audrey Geisel found a box with text and sketches among her husband’s papers while remodeling the home shortly after his death in 1991, Random House said. She rediscovered them again in 2013.

“While undeniably special, it is not surprising to me that we found this because Ted always worked on multiple projects and started new things all the time — he was constantly writing and drawing and coming up with ideas for new stories,” Audrey Geisel said, notes USA Today>.

Audrey Geisel has done a remarkable job at ensuring her husband’s legacy, as few new books by him have been published since his death. Some releases have featured rare, previously published material, like last year’s Horton and the Kwufferbug and More Lost Stories and 2011’s The Bippolo Seed.

What Pet Should I Get was probably written in the late ‘50s or early ‘60s, as it includes the same siblings seen in 1960’s One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish.
