It’s Grammy Night!! Who’s excited?!
The Grammy Awards are always a promising evening of performances, awards, fashion, and familiar faces. But this year’s ceremony is looking to be one of the best yet. With new names such as Sam Smith and Iggy Azaela, plus veterans such as Beyonce and Kanye West, tonight is going to be good!
So, to prepare you for all the night’s festivities here are a few details you’ll need to know!
What Time Do The Awards Come On?
The show starts at 8 PM ET tonight! They will air on CBS and should run until 11/11:30.
What About The Red Carpet?
Of course we can’t forget about the FASHION tonight! Red carpet pro’s Giuliana Rancic and Ryan Seacrest will begin Live From the E! Red Carpet at 6 PM ET
Who are you looking forward to seeing tonight?
Who’s Hosting This Year?
That would be LL Cool J! This is his fourth year in a row hosting the awards.
Who’s Nominated?
This year’s nominations are on fire! Beyonce, Pharrell Williams, and new-comer Sam Smith, are each nominated for six awards this evening. All three artists are nominated for Album of The Year. It’s exciting to see Sam, who’s nominated for Best New Artist, to also be in the night’s biggest category Album of the Year. Chances are Smith will have a very, very good night tonight. Who knows? Maybe he will take home all six.
Other big names such as Drake, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church and Jay Z are all nominated for four awards each. Miranda Lambert is the only Country artist to be nominated in all of the country categories.
Who’s PERFORMING?
While the main focus of the night is definitely the awards, it’s hard not to get excited about this year’s lineup!
The performance creating the most buzz is definitely Rihanna, Kanye, and Paul McCartney’s debut of their new song, FourFiveSeconds. Other performers include Miranda Lambert, Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, and Usher. There will be some exciting duets this evening as well! Tony Bennett and Lagy Gaga, Sam Smith and Mary J. Blige, plus Hozier and Annie Lenox!
Get excited!
