When Fifty Shades of Grey comes to mind, middle school students are probably one of the last demographics that comes to mind.

At a Pennsylvania-area middle school at least five students were given word searches with words that relate to the erotic trilogy by E.L. James that has been turned into a film starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan.

Parents complained about it at the Monessen School District board meeting on Tuesday night, saying they were inappropriately given to some students on Monday.

One father told Pittsburgh’s WTAE, "I asked my son who passed it out, and he said the teacher passed it out. I don't think this is what they should be doing in the 8th grade level."

Some of the words included in the word search puzzle were "submissive," "bondage” and "leather cuffs.”

Monessen Middle School officials won’t reveal who passed out the puzzles, and would only say "We just learned of this issue yesterday.”

Fifty Shades of Grey, which is officially getting two sequels, hits theaters on Friday.
