It’s Groundhog Day, which means only one thing. Time to watch Groundhog Day again! OK, it also means that Americans will eagerly await word on whether or not a groundhog saw his shadow.

The most famous groundhog of them all, Punxsutawney Phil, gave his prediction in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania at around 7:25 a.m. and it’s bad news. As the Washington Post notes, Phil did see his shadow. That means six more weeks of a winter that has already been brutal for much of the Northeast.

Phil also saw his shadow last year, and that winter was pretty terrible. He did not see his shadow in 2013, but that was also a long winter, so his track record isn’t completely clean.

Staten Island Chuck was set to come out of his little home at 7:30 a.m., notes SILive. Chuck took some time to come out of the enclosure, probably because he remembered the last time Mayor Bill De Blasio picked him up. Eventually, Chuck didn’t see his shadow, predicting that spring is coming. So, we now have a divided groundhog world.

Phil has been making predictions since 1887.
