Jennifer Lawrence has denied rumors that she and director David O. Russell had a fight on the set of their latest project.
According to the New York Daily News, Lawrence posted a message on Facebook to clear up rumors that she and Russell had a shouting altercation.
"David O. Russell is one of my closest friends and we have an amazing collaborative working relationship," she wrote Friday. "I adore this man and he does not deserve this tabloid malarkey. This movie is going great and I'm having a blast making it!"
It was previously reported that the "fight" between Lawrence and Russell was just the two method acting to prepare for the next scene.
Russell and Lawrene have previously worked together on American Hustle and Silver Linings Playbooks, which Lawrence won an Oscar for Best Actress. Their latest collaboration, Joy, tells the story of Joy Mangano, the inventor of the Miracle Mop.
