If you missed the Jurassic World Super Bowl teaser because it aired so early during the game, you missed a lot. In just a minute, the new teaser proves that director Colin Trevorrow knows what’s doing.
The one-minute spot builds on the November trailer and only includes a few shots were already saw. Chris Pratt once again tells Bryce Dallas Howard that creating their own dinosaur is a bad idea and now we see why. Apparently, the new dinosaur is a carnivore and is out hunting for sport.
We also see that Pratt isn’t being chased by velociraptors, but instead it looks like they are trained to follow him.
Trevorrow clearly has respect for the original 1993 film, as there are obvious parallels already made obvious. It looks like two young children are in danger and Pratt has to save them. (Wow, he’s got a busy schedule in this movie.)
Jurassic World opens on June 12. Even if it turns out terrible, it can’t be half as bad as Jurassic Park III (we hope).
