KFC launching edible coffee cups in the U.K.

Are you tired of trying to find a place to throw away your coffee cup? Why not just eat it! OK, you can’t eat all coffee cups yet, but you can soon if you are in the U.K. and enjoy buying coffee from KFC.

The Scoff-ee Cup is a cup-shaped biscuit with white chocolate on the inside and edible sugar paper on the outside. It keeps the coffee hot and gives you an extra dessert afterwards.

The cup is the brainchild of The Robin Collective, a group that comes up with edible experiments in food. They also made an effort to make the cups smell nice.

“Not only do the edible cups taste amazing, but they smell delicious too,” a spokesperson for the company told Metro. “We’ve infused different cups with a variety of ambient aromas including Coconut Sun Cream, Freshly Cut Grass and Wild Flowers.”

Sadly, while the cups are launching to mark KFC’s partnership with Seattle’s Best Coffee in the U.K., there are no plans for them to come to the U.S. right now, USA Today reports.

Let’s just hope KFC doesn’t introduce edible chicken buckets. Doctors certainly wouldn’t want us to consume even more grease.
