More details are emerging after the arrest of a 19-year-old who lived just a block away from the home of where the victim, Tammy Meyers, lived and was gunned down last week.
As previously reported, on Thursday, police arrested Erich Nowsch, on suspicion of pulling the trigger and murdering his 44-year-old neighbor and mother of four.
FoxNews.com noted that after Nowsch was taken into custody, Meyers' husband, Robert, revealed that his wife knew the suspect who lived in the neighborhood.
"We know this boy," he said. "I couldn't tell you this before. He knew where I lived. We knew how bad he was but we didn't know he was this bad."
He also said that his wife was a mentor to Nowsch.
Several questions are still swirling in the case about exactly what happened last Thursday night leading up to the shooting.
What is clear though, is that Meyers was shot in front of her own home by someone in a passing car. She was immediately transported to a hospital where she died Saturday and now a family is left grieving while a 19-year-old neighbor could face murder charges.
