The world of The Hunger Games is being turned into a traveling exhibition that will make its premiere in New York City soon.
Variety reports that Lionsgate has reached a deal with Imagine Exhibitions to open The Hunger Games: The Exhibition this summer at Discovery Times Square.
“The Hunger Games: The Exhibition offers visitors an unparalleled experience and brings them closer to the world of Panem,” said Jenefer Brown, senior VP of Location Based Entertainment.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, fans of the book and film franchise will be able to explore seven galleries consisting of District 12, Tribute Train, The Capitol, Making the Games, District 13, Fan Gallery, and Katniss' Journey. Lionsgate is also looking to expand the franchise's revenue with theme-park attractions and other opportunities.
The Hunger Games: The Exhibition will open to the public on July 1 and will run through Jan. 3, 2016. Tickets go on sale on April 21 with prices starting at $22.50.
