Weather has again delayed proceedings in the trial of accused Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

The Associated Press noted that another major storm forecast to dump around a foot of snow on the Boston area is the reason for the latest delay.

As previously reported, the jury selection phase was delayed just last week due to a blizzard that battered parts of the Northeast.

The trial proceedings are expected to resume on Tuesday. So far, more than 100 potential jurors have been questioned.

On April 15, 2013, two pressure cooker bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon killing three people and injuring more than 260 others.

Tsarnaev and his older brother Tamerlan, were quickly named suspects and authorities began searching for the pair.

The eldest brother was killed in a shootout with police, but the younger Tsarnaev fled and was captured after an all-out manhunt in and around the city of Boston.

The 21-year-old had been charged with several crimes and if convicted could face the death penalty.
