A woman in Utah, 37-year-old Jamie Jackson, claims to hold the record of catching 46 bridal bouquets out of the estimated 80 weddings she’s attended in her lifetime.

Her accomplishment hasn’t officially been recorded yet, but she did send all her information to the Guinness Book of World Records and eagerly awaits their response.

She did say, she has “crushed” the myth that when you catch the bouquet at a wedding, you’re “next” to be married. She’s currently still single.

"I've had boyfriends, sure. But I'm liking the single life,” she told People. “Besides, if I were married, I'd have to give up my favorite sport."

Jackson said she has contacted the current record-holder for catching bridal bouquets, Pennsylvania resident Stephanie Monyak, who’s only caught 11.

“I got in touch with her and she says she's now going to more funerals than weddings," she said. "So I figure I have this thing in the bag."

She gets invited to so many weddings because of her family’s connection the church and musical theater.

She told Utah’s KSL, “It is something that you have to plan for and you have to be very strategic where you place yourself,” adding, “My strategy is to be right up in the front because a lot of times the brides don’t know how far they are going to throw it. A lot of times it will hit a ceiling, it’ll hit a chandelier... I’ve had many, many catches where I’ve had to jump for it. And I’ve hit little kids by accident.”

Jackson, who friends refer to as The Bouquet Slayer, has all of the bouquets displayed in a showcase in her home.
