It has been a while since Will Smith was at the top of the box office. Once After Earth debuted to disappoint at the box office and with fans, the future of Smith's career was unknown. Now Smith is back with Focus and has reclaimed the box office, taking the top spot for Friday totals.

The Wrap reported that Focus, which features Margot Robbie and Rodrigo Santoro, has already grossed 6.4 million during its opening. With this total, Focus has knocked off the current leader Fifty Shades of Grey, which has held the top top since Valentine's Day.

Forbes added that the picture cost $50 million to make and is on track to make around $20 million during its opening weekend.

Expected to be in the top five this weekend at the box office includes the R rated action-thriller, Kingsman: The Secret Service., The Lazarus Effect and Fifty Shades of Grey.
