Will Smith confirmed that he's been recording music with Kanye West recently.

XXL reports that Smith told London reporters that he would like to be involved with music again and worked with West a few months back.

"I went into the studio with Kanye. I'm thinking about it. I'm exploring," Smith said. "I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet but I'm exploring. I'm in a creative ceiling."

According to The Fader, Smith added that his son Jayden was his main inspiration for venturing back into music. Smith said that his son, who has released music of his own, encouraged him to continue writing until found something that he liked.

This is the first time since 2013 that the former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star has talked about collaborating with
West.

Smith released his first album, Big Willie Style, in 1997 and sold over 14 million copies worldwide. Smith has not put out a solo album since 1999's Willenium.
