Firefighters responded to a house fire and possible explosion early Tuesday morning in Arvada, Colorado and found a message that could provide a motive as to what may have happened.

The Denver Post reported that when crews arrived at the residence around 1:30 a.m., they found the home engulfed in flames and an interesting message spray-painted on the exterior of the property.

The message read: “My wife is a cheater.”

KUSA-TV noted that the graffiti message was written on multiple areas of the home along with a name which the station chose not to identify.

The fire department said that the flames were so large and the fire was so heavy that the home had been badly damaged, however, there were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation and the Arvada Police Department is searching for a male suspect who because of the telling message, is thought to be involved.

Arvada is located about 10 miles outside of Denver and is home to more than 100,000 residents.
