The 2015 Tribeca Film Festival has announced a few of the films that will represent its lineup for this year's event.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first half of the Tribeca Film Festival will consist primarily of world narratives and documentaries with a few feature films.

51 titles have been chosen so far out of 6,223 films that were entered. 31 different countries contributed to this years lineup and will have the highest percentage of female directors in the festival's history.

Several big names will also star in numerous films that will be shown. Actors James Franco, Ed Harris, Amber Heard and Cynthia Nixon will star in The Adderall Diaries; Olivia Wilde, John Leguizamo, Luke Wilson, Elizabeth Moss and Juno Temple will all star in Meadowland; Richard Gere, Dakota Fanning and Theo James will star in Franny.

The Huffington Pst reports that a Saturday Night Live documentary entitled Live From New York! will also be shown at the festival. The documentary, directed by Bao Nguyen, will be the first SNL documentary to be shown at the festival. James Franco did direct his own SNL documentary in 2010, Saturday Night, which gave a behind the scenes look at the production of the show.

The 2015 Tribeca Film Festival runs from April 15 to the 26 and is presented by AT&T. Free screenings will take place on April 24 as part of AT&T's "Film for All" Friday. The remaining lineup will be announced at a later date.
