Talk about large-scale cheating. Education officials said Friday that more than 600 high school students have been expelled for cheating.

The Associated Press reported that while 10th graders at various high schools in Eastern India were taking exams, their parents, friends and other family members gave them cheat sheets.

NBC News noted that video evidence showed the many people actually climbing up the walls of a school to reach the classrooms and pass the sheets to the children inside.

Footage of the incident at one school aired on television in the state of Bihar.

"It's virtually impossible to conduct fair examinations without the cooperation of parents," said P.K. Shahi, Bihar's education minister.
Teachers and other education authorities said they caught most of the students in the act or with the cheat sheets in their possession.

More than one million students in the country are taking these exams which are extremely important because the only they can continue their education is with a passing grade.
