Aaron Paul is open to appearing on the Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul starring Bob Odenkirk.
Paul said he’s been watching the spin-off at home, but called it a “little weird” that it’s reminiscent of Breaking Bad. He said he’s “hopeful” his Jesse Pinkman character will end up on a future episode.
“We always have fun having that discussion — Vince [Gilligan], myself, Peter [Gould], the writers,” he told Variety. “We just have no idea how that would happen. But hopefully one day.”
He went on to say he does “love” the show so far, but “I know everyone involved, and I’m not involved in it at all and it’s a little weird, a little sad, but it’s great.”
AMC’s Better Call Saul is actually a prequel starring Odenkirk’s character, Saul Goodman. Paul has previously voiced his desire to appear on the show, and so has Bryan Cranston as Walter White.
