Voice coach, Adam Levine, is planning on continuing his relationship with NBC and bringing his musical talents to another reality show.

Entertainment Weekly confirmed that Levine is working on Songland, a songwriting competition, along with The Voice executive producer, Audrey Morrisey and Dave Stewart.

The concept of the show centers on giving unknown singer-songwriters the chance to pitch their own original compositions to the music industry's top artists and producers. The goal of the show, produce a worldwide hit single.

The Hollywood Reporter added that the show was built around the idea that in the music industry, the songwriter is truly king.

This announcement comes two years after NBC announced that they would be closing a development deal with Levine.

The show is currently in production and has not been given a release date. Levine currently serves as a coach on The Voice, along with long time co-coach Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams.
