Chris Brown wanted to be a father, but things have not gone according to plan. Instead of having a baby with longtime on-again, off-again girlfriend Karrueche Tran, he had a baby with a former model named Nia.
Sources for TMZ claim that Brown has been talking about having a child with Tran for the past two years. However, Tran wanted to get married before having a baby, but he never popped the question.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about Brown wanting to have a baby with Tran. Back in August, the singer wrote on an Instagram post that the two of them “need to have this baby and stop playing,” the Daily News noted at the time. Of course, that post no longer exists.
Obviously, those dreams aren’t going to pan out, unless Tran has a major change of heart. After news broke that Brown might have a 9-month-old child with Nia on Wednesday, Tran tweeted that she has had enough of Brown. She moved on quickly, as she was spotted holding hands with publicist Shae Savin in Hollywood Wednesday night.
The baby’s name is reportedly Royalty.
