The line-up for this year’s Outside Lands music festival in San Francisco was announced today and will certainly give music fans an exciting weekend in August.
Elton John, who performed at Bonnaroo last year, is the top act listed. Other headliners include Mumford & Sons - who have a new record coming out this year, The Black Keys, Sam Smith and Kendrick Lamar.
Other performers include Wilco, Tame Impala, D’Angelo and The Vanguard, St. Vincent, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Billy Idol and Lindsey Stirling.
The announcement comes just as anticipation for the summer music festival season gets started. Today, three-day tickets for Chicago’s Lollapalooza already sold out, even though the 2015 line-up will not be revealed until tomorrow morning.
As for Outside Lands, the festival takes place at Golden Gate Park from Aug. 7 to Aug. 9.
Organizers also announced the line-up with a Funny Or Die.com video, which you can check out below. They were clearly inspired by Too Many Cooks.
