Many women have stepped forward about being raped by Bill Cosby after Hannibal Buress made jokes about the star during a 2014 stand-up comedy routine.

The 32-year-old comedian shared with Jimmy Kimmel that these comments about the 77-year-old Cosby Show star did not come with any consequences.

On the March 18 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Broad City star told the talk show host about how he has been receiving death threats since making jokes about Cosby. Buress said it was "definitely a weird situation."

Buress will receive the death threats on his personal Facebook account. He said he finds it to be "weird" when he will have a mutual friend with someone who has sent the threat.

"Then having to hit your friend up and say, 'Hey man, can you tell your buddy to stop saying that he's gonna murder me?'" Buress said.

The Neighbors actor continued by saying he is not too afraid of the death threats. "I don't think that's how killers operate," he said, regarding their use of Facebook Message.

According to Vulture, more than 30 women came forward with stories of being sexually mistreated by Cosby after Buress' comedy routine. Cosby has continues to claim to be innoncent regarding these
