Jerry Springer producer Jill Blackstone was arrested on suspicion of first degree murder after her sister was found dead at the home they share in California on Saturday.

Blackstone was released from custody on Wednesday, but an investigation is underway to see if she staged the scene of her now-deceased sister, Wendy Blackstone, holding a suicide note in their garage.

According to TMZ, Wendy, who is deaf and partially blind, looked like she had died from carbon monoxide poisoning. A barbeque grill was found next to her dead body.

Police think Jill murdered her sister and set it up to look like a suicide. Law enforcement believes Jill was the one who wrote the suicide note. It’s also suspicious that the grill was at Wendy’s feet when she was found.

Jill was hospitalized for carbon monoxide poisoning herself and she was arrested upon her release from the hospital on Monday. She has since been released from jail after the D.A. ordered an investigation be carried out.

LA Times reports Blackstone also worked on shows like Dr. Drew on Call and The Real.

The cause of Wendy’s death has not determined yet.
