Lil Wayne threw a temper tantrum onstage during a performance at Nova Southeastern University on Thursday night, throwing his mic and storming off.
When the DJ O.T. Genasis was prompted to play his remix of “CoCo,” the original version of the song was played instead. This infuriated Wayne, who yelled something towards the DJ booth and threw his mic in his direction before leaving the stage entirely.
TMZ has footage of the incident, which also shows the crowd getting upset the rapper would just leave without finishing a song.
He did manage to perform seven songs before his unanticipated walk-off.
The incident comes after a swatting call was placed to his Miami Beach home earlier this week. He was also the victim of another prank, when someone sent a prostitute to his home.
TMZ reports she arrived at his mansion looking for money in exchange for sex but the only problem was the “I Am Not a Human Being” rapper didn’t order a hooker.
