Authorities have said that the suspect in last year’s arson fire that burned an unfinished downtown apartment complex was actually captured on surveillance video.

The Los Angeles Times noted that Fire Department Chief Steve Ruda said that the suspect was seen on camera parking a vehicle on Interstate 110 before walking to the Da Vinci apartment complex. The suspect had cans of gasoline with them.

The fire happened just before 1:30 in the morning on Dec. 8. The building was still under construction and no injuries were reported.

Reuters noted that investigators have interviewed more than 100 people in relation to the fire and found evidence of arson, however, no suspects were ever arrested.

There is a $170,000 reward being offered for anyone with information leading to the arrest of the suspect who remains at large.

The complex was destroyed in the blaze and nearby structures also sustained some damage. In total, the damages were estimated to cost around $30 million.
