Paramount is developing Substitute Teacher, one of the most popular sketches from Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele’s Key & Peele Comedy Central show, into a movie. The studio bought the pitch on Tuesday.

The first sketch to feature Key’s Mr. Garvey is up to 72 million views on YouTube. In it, Mr. Garvey is a former inner-city schoolteacher who gets angry a little too easily. Peele will play another teacher at the school who is hoping to be popular with the students.

Key & Peele co-producers Rich Talarico and Alex Rubens will write the script. 21 Laps, which co-produced Fox’s Night at the Museum 3 and Disney’s Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, Very Bad Day, is producing.

Before Substitute Teacher, Key & Peele also have other projects in the works, including a Judd Apatow production. Entertainment Weekly notes that they will also start production on New Line’s Keanu, which centers on two friends who try to get their cat back by pretending to be drug dealers.

Key & Peele returns with new episodes on Comedy Central in July.
