Ryan Reynolds has been keeping fans up to date with the new Deadpool movie on Twitter and today’s nugget came with nothing but good news. Not only is the costume close to the comic incarnation of the character, it looks like the sarcastic tone will survive to the big screen as well.

The picture shows Reynolds, in costume, reclining on a bear rug in front of a fire place. “With great power, comes great irresponsibility,” he added, in a nod to the famous Spider-Man quote.

In the next tweet, he joked, “No bears were harmed in the making of this photo. Though many bears likely turned on.” Then, he revealed the inspiration behind the photo - the famous image of a nude Burt Reynolds laying on a bear rug.

20th Century Fox’s Deadpool movie has come together incredibly quickly in the past few months, considering it was stuck in development hell for years. Tim Miller, who has been attached to direct the entire time, is still helming the movie.

Reynolds’ co-stars include Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano and T.J. Miller. Producers are Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner.

Deadpool, which is set in the X-Men universe, hits theaters on Feb. 12, 2016.
