Sam Smith and John Legend have teamed up and recently performed a unique duet of "Lay Me Down" in honor of Red Nose Day 2015. The biennial event is put together by the UK's Comic Relief organization.

US Magazine reported that the event is described as the day "when people across the land can get together and do something funny for money at home, school and work."
Smith originally released "Lay Me Down" back in 2013 but re-recorded the single with Legend in support of the event. The music video features Legend on the piano and Smith singing, while viewers can see footages of a young generation learning and playing.
Smith took to his social media accounts to encourage his fans to download the duet and to support Red Nose Day 2015.
Other artists that have been contributed music to the event include, One Direction and X Factor star, Susan Boyle.
