Scott Weiland took to Facebook to address his behavior at a recent VIP meet and greet in Boston with his band the Wildabouts that took place earlier this month. Weiland is known for being the former frontman of popular rock 'n' roll band, Stone Temple Pilots.
Weiland said that he was truly sorry for his odd behavior. "I would like to make a sincere apology to the fans that were at the meet and greet in Boston. I’m embarrassed by my behavior and some of the things that I said, " wrote Weiland. He went on to explain that he wouldn't be who he is without the fans and felt like he had let them down.
Rolling Stone reported that the incident took place at a show at Brighton Music Hall on March 13th. Weiland appeared to be drunk at the meet and greet and many fans took to social media to explain what was taking place at the meet and greet, which cost fans $150.
Posts starting being published on a popular Stone Temple Pilots message board. One fan who attended the meet and greet said that Weiland posed for a picture and said let's get this over with.
Weiland was wrapping up a tour in support of his recent LP, Blaster, which will be released on March 30th. This is his first musical effort with the Wiladabouts.
