If you missed your chance to see the Academy Award-winning Selma on the big screen, you now have a second chance. To honor the 50th anniversary of the historic march from Selma to Montgomery—the events of which are displayed in Ava DuVernay's film—Paramount re-releases the Martin Luther King Jr.-biopic beginning this Friday.

According to a press release, tickets are now on sale for Selma's returning release, with a buy one, get one free ticket deal available in some theaters. Moviegoers can purchase tickets and find out where it plays on the movie's website.

In addition to the actual film, these screenings also include a special encore engagement. What that may be has to be determined by those who see Selma this weekend. This appears to be a one weekend only event, but it's hard to believe Paramount won't continue this extension if the movie does well again at the box office.

Starring David Oyelowo as MLK and Carmen Ejogo, Tom Wilkinson, Oprah Winfrey, Tessa Thompson and Common in supporting roles, Selma recreates the tumultuous three-month period in 1965 when Dr. King led a campaign to secure equal voting rights, with violent outcomes. It was nominated for two Oscars this year, including Best Picture, and won Best Original Song for its ending tune "Glory," performed by John Legend and Common.

This is not the first special Selma Paramount has hosted. They also provided free screenings in Selma, Alabama and also screened it at White House, where it was hosted by President Barack Obama. According to DVD Release Dates, Selma comes to DVD and Blu-Ray on May 5.
