Slipknot guitarist Mick Thomson got into a knife fight with his brother, Andrew, on Wednesday. The musician was severely injured and taken to a Des Moines, Iowa area hospital.

Both were injured in the fight, but Mick was stabbed in the back of his head during the altercation.

Iowa’s KCCI reports police say they both appeared to be intoxicated when they arrived on scene. The fight started inside the home and made its way to the front yard, where they were both found with stab wounds after a neighbor called the cops.

They were taken away in two separate ambulances, with Mick sustaining an injury to his head. It’s unclear what type of injuries Andrew sustained but authorities say neither brother’s injuries are life-threatening.

The frontman of Slipknot, Corey Taylor, tweeted that Mick was doing fine after the fight. “Mick Update: from what I've heard he's okay. We're sendig him all your thoughts. Thank you for that,” he wrote.

No criminal charges have been filed.
