Tyrese is a busy man with his new album in progress and set to drop in July, among other projects. He gives us a glimpse into his new album with his video release of “Dumb Sh**” which features Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa.
With the preview of what is in store for Tyrese music lovers came a black and white video that premiered on Wednesday in which Tyrese looks amazing. He is performing his single “DumbSh**” which features Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa. In the video he shows off his sexy swag around his female co-stars before his featured rappers join in on the R&B fun. “Dumb Sh**t” is a single off his new album titled, Black Rose, due out in July. The video was directed by Matt Alonzo. "Matt Alonzo and I had a ball making it. It's spring and as we warm up, I wanted to drop this dumb s**t to get some energy going. This song ain't for saints, it's for real people who have made mistakes in relationships and did some dumb s**t," Tyrese told Complex about his experience working on the video with Alonzo.
Tyrese will also have the latest Fast and the Furious installment release April 3 where he will reprise his role in the popular series. He is set to appear in the upcoming Southpaw as well.
On the television front there is speculation that he could be appearing in Empire at some point. He used Facebook to spread the message that he would like to reunite with Taraji P. Henson who portrayed his wife, Yvette, to his character Jody, in the 2001 film Baby Boy. In the message he jokingly begs to be reunited with his former movie wife who now plays Cookie on the breakout freshman hit, Empire.
