Van Halen had their first television performance together since David Lee Roth came back to join the band in 2007 and it was enough to shut down Hollywood Boulevard during Jimmy Kimmel Live.
According to Billboard, the band performed three songs beginning with “Panama,” which is off their album 1984. Diamond Dave had a bandage on his nose during the performance, which was attributed to hurting himself with a microphone.
The next song was “Runnin’ With The Devil,” off of their debut album from 1978 and they ended the set with “Dance The Night Away” from 1979. Roth even brought a woman from the audience up on stage to dance! They can also be seen on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday.
As previously reported, the appearance on the show was their first step in kicking off their North American tour. Their album Tokyo Dome Live In Concert was released today. Their tour is set to begin July 5 in Seattle, WA and will end Oct. 2 in Hollywood, CA.
