Anna Kendrick has found time to join the long-titled 20th Century Fox comedy Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. The film already stars Zac Efron and Adam DeVine as the title characters.

The casting was confirmed by Variety on Wednesday. The project was first reported on in January and is written by Andrew J. Cohen and Brendan O’Brien. Jake Szymanski is directing.

Mike and Dave centers on two brothers who try to find dates for a wedding by placing an ad online, which goes viral. Of course, it requires some suspension of disbelief, since it’s hard to believe that Efron could have trouble finding a date.

Efron is next expected to make a Neighbors sequel and just filmed We Are Friends. Another upcoming project is Bad Grandpa with Robert De Niro.

As for Kendrick, she’s been testing her pipes lately in Into The Woods, The Last Five Years and the upcoming Pitch Perfect 2. She’s currently working with Ben Affleck on The Accountant.
