Avengers: Age of Ultron isn't even out in the United States yet, but the movie is already looking to shatter records and surpass the first movie's box office gross.

According to Box Office Mojo, Age of Ultron has already grossed $201 million worldwide. The movie is currently open in 26 countries, about half the amount of countries that plan to show the movie.

Comparing this to the opening of the original Avengers, Ultron surpassed that movie's international opening by 44%, according to ScreenRant. Considering that first Avengers went on to make $1.5 billion worldwide, Ultron's premiere should be absolutely massive.

The Avengers, which opened in 2012, grossed $185.1 million in its worldwide debut between 39 countries, according to Forbes. It should be noted, though, that Ultron hasn't yet opened in China, which is a huge market for Marvel.

Not accounting for inflation, The Avengers is currently the third highest grossing film of all time, behind Titanic and Avatar. It probably doesn't have a chance of topping Titanic's $2.1 billion, but could Ultron unseat the original film and give Marvel the third and fourth spot on the list?

Avengers: Age of Ultron opens in the United States on May 1.
