Chipotle lovers everywhere have been rejoicing at the news that the Mexican Grill now delivers, but the new service comes with a high price tag.

This week, the company announced to investors that it has signed a deal to deliver via Postmates, which is an On-Demand delivery app. The service guarantees delivery within 60 minutes.

“There have been a lot of people that have been delivering Chipotle through various services over the years,” the restaurant's chief creative officer said. “And we’ve tried to in a lot of cases shut them down, because we weren’t sure whether the quality was going to be sufficient or whether they were following our rules. This is different because we’ve made an official deal with Postmates and they have been delivering Chipotle for quite a while, too.”

In order to have a hefty burrito brought to your door though, it’s going to cost a bit more than it would if you actually went to the restaurant and picked it up yourself. A service charge of 74 cents is reasonable, however, a delivery fee of $11.25 is certainly not.

Yes, as Jason Del Rey of Re/code reported that was the ridiculous charge added to his meal.

“I just tried to order an $8 Chipotle burrito from Postmates and was told it would cost $20 with delivery and service fees,” Del Rey noted.

So next time you’re craving a taco, it can be delivered straight to your door but it’s going to cost more.
