Up and coming country superstar, Jana Kramer and Kelsea Ballerini will be headlining CMT's 'Next Women of Country' tour.

USA Today reported that this will be the inaugural tour and will kick off at the end of April in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Kramer is originally from Michigan.

The tour will be making nine stops including Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago, St. Louis, Nashville and Orlando.

Kramer expressed that she was very excited to start this tour and that this is something she had wanted to do for a while. "I've wanted something like this for a long time, just to be a fan and go see but also because I love when women are together," explained Kramer.

Kelsea Ballerini is new to the country industry and has a top 20 single with "Love Me Like You Mean It." Her career got an instant boost when Taylor Swift tweeted out that she was listening to Ballerini in her car, Radio.com added.

The "I Got The Boy" singer explained that traditionally country music has been heavily dominated by males but the tides are turning and that women are taking center stage. "There are some amazing songs out there by women. They're getting heard more now. I feel like certain things are dying off, and this is the best time for us to slip in with these songs."
