Rapper/actor Common is set to join DC Comics and Warner Bros.’ Suicide Squad, which already has a packed cast. He’s also joining a new film from director Rob Reiner.

The Suicide Squad news was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, which had no details for Common’s role.

Directed by David Ayer, the film already stars Jared Leto, Will Smith, Joel Kinnaman, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adeleke Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Scott Eastwood, Adam Beach and Ike Barinholtz. They will be starring as famous villains in the DC universe who are sent on dangerous missions by a government agency.

The film hits theaters on Aug. 5, 2016 and could also feature cameos by Jesse Eisenberg and Ben Affleck.

THR also got the scoop on Being Charlie, the latest film from Reiner. Nick Robinson (Jurassic World, Kings of Summer) will star as an 18-year-old who escapes a youth drug treatment clinic to go home. His parents force him to go to an adult rehab center, where he finds a troubled girl named Eva.

In addition to Common, the co-stars include Morgan Saylor, Devon Bostick, Cary Elwes, Ricardo Chavira and Susan Misner. It will be Reiner’s follow-up to And So It Goes.

Common is also set to star in Spike Lee’s Chiraq. In February, he shared an Oscar win with John Legend for “Glory,” which they wrote for the Martin Luther King Jr. biopic Selma.
