Just after a powerful Coachella set that resulted in a broken foot for singer Florence Welch, Florence + The Machine released the video for “Ship To Wreck,” another single from their upcoming third album.
The video was posted on Monday and features a battle between two versions of Welch, as they fight over a man. It gets violent very quickly as she also tries to sing along to the track.
Welch just posted on Facebook Tuesday that she broke her foot during the band’s intense Coachella performance on Sunday. She even apologized to fans for having to tone down her future performances. However, she should be fine for Glastonbury in June.
“I'm so sorry to say, that after what was one of my favourite shows ever at Coachella, I have discovered I have broken my foot from leaping off the stage. Unfortunately while this heals, my performances will have to be somewhat stripped back,” she said.
The group is finally releasing their third album, How Big How Blue How Beautiful, which will hit stores on June 2. The regular edition features 11 tracks and a deluxe version adds five more. The first single was “What Kind of Man.”
