Chris Wallace of the Fox News network was a guest on Mike Gallagher's radio show and is receiving backlash after he made comments about American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson's weight.
The two were discussing Gallagher's weight and pizza, when the conversation took a quick turn towards Clarkson and her weight, The Huffington Post reported. Gallagher, as if out of nowhere, said in regards to Clarkson "Holy cow, did she blow up."
Wallace who was a guest on the show, didn't respond at first but added that "She could stay off the deep dish pizza for a little while."
Clarkson has been open about her weight loss and weight gain. She opened up about how often people are shaming her about the way she looks on the Ellen DeGeneres show, E! News reported.
"I think what hurts my feelings for people is when I'll have a meet and greet after the show and a girl whose, like, bigger than me will be in the meet and greet and be like, 'Oh, God!' And they'll say, 'If they think you're big I must be so fat to them.' It's like, you just are who you are. We are who we are—whatever size. It doesn't mean that we're gonna be that forever," said Clarkson.
"That's the thing! Sometimes we're more fit. Like, especially me. I'm such a creative person that I yo-yo. Sometimes I'm more fit and I get into kickboxing hardcore. And then sometimes I don't and I'm like, 'I'd rather have wine,'" laughed the "Heartbeat Song" singer.
