Fans of the ‘90s hit She’s All That had some mixed feelings about a remake of the film, so they should be happy to know that star Freddie Prinze Jr. isn’t exactly enthusiastic about the idea either.

The news broke overnight, with TheWrap reporting that Tonya Lewis Lee, the wife of director Spike Lee, would be producing the film. Kenny Leon was picked to direct. Miramax, which released the original film, is producing with The Weinstein Company.

However, you might want to put the brakes on yelling about how Hollywood has run out of ideas. BuzzFeed’s Emily Orley tweeted that the studios told her that there is no deal for the She’s All That remake. (TheWrap also reported that Miramax denied that deals were set.) Of course, that still doesn’t mean it won’t happen. It’s just not as far along as we think.

Prinze, whose voice can currently be heard on Star Wars Rebels, responded to a few fan tweets about it today. Here’s some of his responses:

She’s All That made $100 million worldwide when it was released in 1999. It’s a modern take on Pygmalion and My Fair Lady. It was written by R. Lee Fleming Jr., with uncredited work from M. Night Shyamalan. Robert Iscove directed.
