Universal’s Furious 7 has two new wide releases to contend with this weekend, but don’t expect either of them to suddenly stop it. Unfriended and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 have little chance at stalling the film at the box office.

Furious 7 has topped the worldwide box office for the past two weeks. Last week, it made $60 million and if it drops another 50 percent, it should make around $30 million. That will be more than enough to keep the two new movies at bay.

Blart 2 started its run with $450,000 from Thursday night showings. Unfriended did a bit better, as expected, with $656,000, notes TheWrap. Both movies are only expected to make between $15 million and $20 million.

Entertainment Weekly is predicting a $25 million opening for Blart 2. That would still be a bit lower from the 2009 original, which opened with $31.8 million.

The horror film Unfriended has earned some good reviews from critics and its unique presentation should draw in a younger crowd. It was shot to look as if the entire film happens in a Skype conversation.

Home is expected to make just above $10 million, while The Longest Ride will take a tumble to around $6 million.
