Jack White, former member of the White Stripes, will be taking a break from life on the road. White announced that he will be taking a long break from touring.
The LA Times reported that White recently performed on the main stage at Coachella and it might be his last performance for a while.
White will be playing five shows before he starts his hiatus, this doesn't include the second weekend of Coachella and a Honolulu show. The five shows will be all acoustic and the dates and times will announced the day of the show. Tickets to these secret shows will only be $3 each.
Representatives for White explained that after this mini-tour concludes, "After many years of performing in a multitude of configurations, Jack White is announcing that he will be taking a break from performing live for a long period of time.”
White will be playing the final weekend of Coachella this Saturday, The Toronto Sun added.
White is know for his guitar skills and the ability to cross musical genres with his group and solo work.
