Beyonce and Jay-Z are the reigning king and queen of the music industry and now the duo might be taking Jay-Z's music service Tidal to the next level.
Fuse host DJ Skee broke the news yesterday and said that Beyonce and Jay-Z are working on a joint album that would only be made available on Tidal. Skee explained that he had heard rumors about this alubm back in September.
Entertainment Weekly reported that this move would be the energy that Tidal needs. The service has seen a decrease in popularity and many artists have come out against it, including most recently, Mumford & Sons.
As previously reported, that during an interview with the Daily Beast, Mumford & Sons explained that they had not been invited the service but wouldn't have joined it anyway.
"I think smaller bands should get paid more for it, too. Bigger bands have other ways of making money, so I don’t think you can complain. A band of our size shouldn’t be complaining. And when they say it’s artist-owned, it’s owned by those rich, wealthy artists," explained Marcus Mumford.
