Zack Snyder and Warner Bros. finally showed off the first image of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor last week and it looked exactly like we imagined he would. While on Late Night with Seth Meyers last night, Eisenberg talked a bit about playing Superman’s archenemy, but focused on having to be bald for the first time in his life.
Eisenberg insisted that he was born with a full head of hair, so it was the first time he had ever felt his scalp, which was “freezing.”
“It’s really strange,” the Social Network star said. “It’s the kind of thing where you feel like I can really damage myself. You want to wear a helmet.”
Meyers also wondered why Eisenberg didn’t get something cool to cover his head when paparazzi tried to take photos of the set. Instead of a helmet or something cool, Eisenberg just wore a bandanna over his head, like E.T. in a basket.
“Everything is shrouded in secrecy and the people are shrouded in bandannas,” Eisenberg joked.
The picture of Eisenberg as Luthor showed Eisenberg with his head completely shaved, looking seriously into the camera. You can see him in action on March 15, 2016.
