There are much harder names to spell out there than Julia Louis-Dreyfus’, but the people behind the Hollywood Walk of Fame couldn’t figure out how to spell the Veep star’s name. During an appearance on the Tonight Show earlier in the week, Louis-Dreyfus recalled how they got it wrong.

She first praised Jimmy Fallon for saying her name correctly at the Emmys and then they started talking about how hard her last name is to get right. Even the Walk of Fame people got it wrong.

“I’m getting all made up and someone who works for me comes in and comes running in. She says, ‘Listen, I gotta tell you something. I have some bad news,’” Louis-Dreyfus recalled. “And, inexplicably, I said to her, ‘They spelled my name wrong.’ And she said, ‘Yeah, they did.’”

They spelled her last name as “Luis-Dreyfus.” About 45 minutes before the ceremony, they tried to fix it and you can easily tell that it was fixed.

The former Seinfeld star said that she has actually kept the misspelled piece in her office as a souvenir.

You can check out Louis-Dreyfus’ Veep this Sunday. The show starts its fourth season.
