Keith Harris, a UK entertainer known for performing with his puppet Orville, has died at the age of 67. His agent, Robert C Kelly, confirmed his death on Twitter on Tuesday.

Kelly confirmed Harris died after a battle with cancer. He was diagnosed with spleen cancer in 2013.

"Sad to announce death from cancer of my client, dear friend and great talent, Keith Harris,” he wrote.

The BBC reports after undergoing surgery to have his spleen removed, he was cancer-free but it returned last summer.

During his career, he had The Keith Harris Show and a hit song “I Wish I Could Fly.” He even performed for both Prince William and Prince Harry at their respective third birthday parties at Highgrove House then Kensington Palace.

Daily Mail reports Harris tried out stem cell treatment after his cancer diagnosis to no avail.

Harris is survived by three children; Skye, 27, Kitty, 15 and Shenton, 13, as well as his fourth wife Sarah. Orville the Duck will be retired, with Kelly explaining, “There are no plans for Orville. That's the end.”
