With less than a month to go before Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters, Marvel already has its sight on the next two Avengers movies. The studio officially announced that Captain America: The Winter Soldier directors Joe and Anthony Russo will direct both Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1 and Part 2.

Late last month, there were reports that the brothers would definitely direct the film, but it wasn’t until today that Marvel officially made the announcement.

The Russo Brothers gained fame through their work on sitcoms, including Arrested Development, Happy endings and Community. Their first film as directors was 2002’s Welcome to Collinwood and they also helmed You, Me & Dupree.

However, they stepped out of the comedy bubble to helm The Winter Soldier and are clearly now embedded in the Marvel family. They also directed an episode of Agent Carter.

Before Infinity War, though, they have to direct the third Cap film, Civil War, which is expected to introduce Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and possibly Spider-Man.

Civil War hits theaters on May 6, 2016. The Infinity War films open on May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019, respectively. Age of Ultron opens on May 1.

Somehow, between all this Marvel work, the Russos are supposed to direct Channing Tatum in another Ghostbusters movie.
