Modern Family star Ariel Winter got to participate in one of the biggest milestones in a teenager’s life – going to prom.
This week, she posted photos that were taken last weekend ahead of the event. She posed in four photos; including one with her boyfriend and date, Laurent Claude Gaudette, and one with her father, Glenn Workman.
“Shmoopberry and I take prom #prom #prom2015,” she captioned the photo of herself with Gaudette. She also wrote, “Dad saw me off to #prom!! Love him” to accompany the photo with her dad.
She then posted a photo of herself solo and another with two of her girlfriends.
Winter, 17, plays Alex Dunphy on the Emmy-winning sitcom, which also stars Sarah Hyland, Julie Bowen, Sofia Vergara and more.
Last year, Winter went through a difficult time when her sister, Shanelle Gray, was awarded temporary guardianship over her. She accused her mother, Chrisoula Workman, of being emotionally and physically abusive at the time.
